I love Don’t Run Away! I already preordered the album. Amazon and WOWHD have preorders. Amazing – this is the third album we’ve gotten while we wait for David to finish his two year church mission in S. America. Two days after the album is released he’ll be 1/2 done his mission. I look forward to this CD dominating my car CD player for the forseeable future. BTW if anyone’s on twitter follow DavidArchie – he can’t tweet himself while he’s on his mission but occasionally his manager Kari posts a sentence from David (as well as posting music news etc).

Thanks for the sneak peek! I’m dying to get home and watch this since I have it recorded as a part of my Primetime Anytime recordings. I remember Rayna’s daughters singing a little in the car, but these girls sound better than Juliette does! I don’t remember their names either, but I’m sure I’ll snag them once I watch this. I already know that I’m going to move this episode from the temporary part of my Hopper onto my permanent recordings. I’ve created a folder for Nashville episodes with the songs that I really like, this way they’re organized and easy to find for whenever I want to hear some good music. I’ve never been into country like some of my co-workers at DISH, but now with this show, I feel like I can talk some music with them!

I absolutely love this song. I missed the second episode of Nashville when it aired because I was working late at DISH, but I caught it and its soundtrack on my Hopper. It’s set to auto-record Nashville using Primetime Anytime, so I never have to worry about missing an episode, and I fell in love with Undermine as soon as I saw the show. Kacey and Trent are clearly very talented; I’m sure their current and future songs will do well in the country music industry.

Round three of the battles on The Voice turned out some of the best performances yet. There’re some heartfelt performances and I can’t get enough of the show. I enjoy watching The Voice on primetime when I’m home, the problem’s I always have a bunch of stuff to record, but not enough DVRs to get them recorded. I have to pick what I’m going to watch and miss the others. I don’t have to worry about that anymore after my coworker at DISH told me about the Hopper DVR. I can get all my primetime shows recorded with this cool feature called PrimeTime Anytime. Once it’s been enabled I can get all four major networks recorded on one TV with out any conflicts. This means everyone gets their shows on primetime and we can watch it from any room. I’ve never enjoyed this much TV without the headache which’s enhanced my TV experience.

My least favorite battle of the night was MacKenzie Bourg vs. Emily Earle. I think it was an awful song choice and I was only able to listen to about 30 seconds before I had to walk away. I did like Liz and Nicole’s version of Baggage Claim and I thought they did the song justice. This is just one of many reasons why I’ve got my Hopper timers ready to record the show each week and with 2,000 hours of recording time I don’t have to rush through. I was also happy to see Beat Frequency get eliminated because I just didn’t feel like they have what it takes. My DISH co-worker on the other hand insists that they were unfairly eliminated. I have to disagree because two against one is never fair.

When I saw these guys perform on The Voice together I felt like it would be a tough choice on who would win the battle. They both did extremely well and while it might not have been the perfect song for these two guys, I think that Adam wanted to see how versatile they really are. I caught the show real late last night after I got off work on my Hopper and I was impressed. Apparently Adam knew what he was looking for though and Collin ended up going to someone else’s team. Bryan has such a raspy voice that just sets him apart and I think that Collin was really nervous during his performance. My DISH co-worker said that she’s not sure how she feels about the steal option but I think it’s going to shake things up a little and give the show some depth. It also gives the judges a chance to see what maybe they didn’t during blind auditions.
