Jason Derulo returns to the music scene today with his new pop single “The Other Side” — which is about his longtime girlfriend (and American Idol alum) Jordin Sparks. The thumping rhythm and the chorus’ hook should supply enough chart success to make this his next big hit.
Produced by Ammo and Dr. Luke, Jason reveals that he spent ”a year working on this album and it’s become my best work thus far.”
He adds, ”I wanted to make a record that I wanted to listen to all the time. Not just this year, not just next year, but for a long time.” The new single serves as the lead offering from his forthcoming album, out this summer
